Furigone has no accounts, ads or analytics. Your progress stays on your device. We only process personal data if you buy Premium or write to us.

Who is responsible

What stays on your device

Your cards, progress, notes, settings and study time are stored only on your device. We don’t receive them and can’t see them. Reading aloud uses your operating system’s text-to-speech engine.

If you buy Premium

Apple or Google handle the payment. We don’t receive your name, your email or your card details.

To know whether you have Premium and to let you restore it, we use RevenueCat, Inc. (United States), acting as our data processor. RevenueCat receives:

• a random identifier created by the app, unrelated to your name or email;
• Apple’s purchase receipt or Google’s purchase token, and your Furigone purchase history;
• your device type, operating system, language and region, currency, and the last time you opened the app.

Purpose and legal basis: providing the service you bought (performance of a contract, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

Retention: while you have Premium and then for as long as legal obligations require. Apple and Google keep their own purchase records under their policies.

If you write to us

We process your email address and message to answer you, or to tell you about the beta if you ask us to (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(f)). Cloudflare receives and forwards the email, Google stores it in Gmail and Resend sends our replies. We keep it for as long as we need to help you and then for as long as legal obligations require.

If you visit this website

It uses no cookies or analytics and loads no third-party fonts or other resources. Vercel, which hosts it, logs technical data about each visit, such as the IP address and browser, to serve and protect it (legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

RevenueCat processes data in the United States under the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Cloudflare, Google, Resend and Vercel may also process data outside the European Economic Area, under the safeguards the GDPR provides for each provider.

How to delete your data

Uninstall the app to delete what it stores on your device. For anything else, write to us. Since there are no accounts, we may need your help to identify your purchase.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, or for its rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, object to its processing and withdraw your consent, by writing to hello@furigone.app. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

Children

Furigone is not aimed at children under 14 and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has sent us data, write to us and we’ll delete it.

Automated decisions

We make no automated decisions with legal effects on you and do no profiling. Spaced repetition runs on your device and only decides when each card comes back.

If we change this policy, we’ll publish the new version here with its date.
