Terms of use
Last updated: 31 October 2026
Who we are
Furigone is a service of NEGOCIS DIGITALS CANGERARD, SL. Its details are in the legal notice and you can write to us at hello@furigone.app. By using the app you accept these terms.
What Furigone is
Furigone is a tool for studying Japanese. It doesn’t replace your textbook or a teacher and doesn’t guarantee you’ll pass any exam. Mock exams are practice material with original questions: they aren’t official JLPT exams and their results are only a guide.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for study. You may not bulk copy or extract its content, resell it or reverse engineer it, except as the law or the open licence of the relevant data allows.
If you download the app from the App Store, Apple’s standard licence agreement also applies.
Free plan and Premium
The free plan includes part of the content, as detailed in the app. Furigone Premium unlocks the rest and is offered as a yearly subscription, a monthly subscription or a one-time purchase. The app shows the price and what each option includes before you buy.
Payments, renewals and cancellation
- Apple or Google charge the purchase to the account you make it with.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before, in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Uninstalling the app doesn’t cancel the subscription.
- If a subscription includes a free trial and you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, you won’t be charged. Apple or Google decide whether you qualify for the trial.
- If a subscription’s price changes, Apple or Google will tell you according to their rules.
- The one-time purchase doesn’t renew and gives access to Premium for as long as we offer the app.
- Premium is tied to the App Store or Google Play account you bought it with. You can get it back with “Restore purchases” on another device using that same account, but it doesn’t carry over from one store to the other.
Refunds and consumer rights
Apple and Google handle refunds under their own terms. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
Your progress
Your progress is stored only on your device. This version has no cloud copy or sync, so it’s lost if you uninstall the app or change phones, unless a backup of your system keeps it.
Content and trademarks
The dictionary and example sentences come from open data, under the licences listed in the legal notice. The rest of the app belongs to us or we use it with the right to do so.
Furigone is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by The Japan Times Publishing, 3A Corporation or the organizers of the JLPT. The names of the books and the exam are trademarks of their owners and are used only to show what each piece of content corresponds to.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the app running well and its content correct, but it may contain errors. We may update it, change its features or stop offering it. If we stop offering it, we’ll give you reasonable notice where possible.
We are liable for damage attributable to us as the law requires. These terms don’t exclude any liability that can’t legally be excluded.
Changes to these terms
If we change them, we’ll publish the new version here with its date. If the change is significant, we’ll also tell you in the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you’re a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and can bring a claim before the courts where you live.
